Sayula is a Mexican-Canadian company which provides environmentally and socially responsible bath and kitchen products. They provide products that address the need to develop socially, environmentally and economically sustainable opportunities in Mexico. Sayula's products are biodegradable and use plant species that naturally grow in the region, don’t require much water or use of harmful practices, like the use of pesticides and fertilizers. They work directly with rural communities to help them improve their quality of life by providing stable income and fair prices that directly benefit people in these communities.
All items are handmade from a co-operative in Mexico.
Care Instructions: Rinse and hang to dry after use. Agave fibre products can occasionally be washed in the washing machine. Fibres soften and expand when wet.
Root Brush (Pot & Vegetable Scrubber):
This brush is handmade from the root of a grass called “zacaton”. This is great for scrubbing pots and cleaning root vegetables. The roots are very stiff and are effective scouring brushes. Unlike plastic, these roots will not melt on hot pots. Size: 14 cm (5.5").
Agave Dish Cloth (Dish Scrubber):
This scrubber is handmade from the leaves of the “maguey” agave. This scrubber is great to remove that cooked-on stuff stuck to pots, pans and dish-ware, and also to clean fruits and vegetables. Its non-scratch fibres are safe to use on all sorts of surfaces. Size: 20 x 20 cm (8" x 8").
Agave Soap Pouch (Soap Saver):
This pouch is handknit from the leaves of the “maguey” agave. This pouch is great to get most out of your bar soap, using small left over pieces or a full bar in the pouch. Size: 15 x 10 cm (6" x 4").
Agave Body Cloth (Body Polisher):
This agave cloth is made from the “maguey” agave. This cloth is ideal for smoothing back, legs and bottoms. Can be use daily. Size: 30 x 30 cm (approx. 12" x 12").
Agave Mitt (Body Polisher):
This mitt is hand-knit from fibres of the “maguey” agave. This mitt helps to increase the lather of your body wash, remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation. Size: 15 x 10cm (6" x 4").
Agave Glove (Body Polisher):
This glove is hand-knit from fibres of the “maguey” agave. It helps to increase the lather of your body wash, remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation. Size: 24 x 17cm (9.5" x 7").
